Bible and Blood: an ad by the gay community - Adpunch

Bible and Blood: an ad by the gay community - Adpunch:
"An advertisement recently published in a leading newspaper has shown a Bible next to a pool of blood and it is carrying the headline, ‘In the name of the father’. Scotland Yard, which is carrying out the enquiry, will concentrate on whether the ad constitutes faith crime."

You go to the web site and tell me what you think. If this is not a faith crime then there is no faith and/or crime. Why is it ok when the other side does it but not when Christians do things. Nicky Cruz almost got his outreach shut down in London because he said the homosexual life style is wrong. Now this?????

JavaScript opens doors to browser-based attacks | Tech News on ZDNet

JavaScript opens doors to browser-based attacks | Tech News on ZDNet:
"The malicious JavaScript can be embedded in a Web page and will run without warning when the page is viewed in any ordinary browser, the researchers said. It will bypass security measures such as a firewall because it runs through the user's browser, they said.

'We have discovered a technique to scan a network, fingerprint all the Web-enabled devices found and send attacks or commands to those devices,' said Billy Hoffman, lead engineer at Web security specialist SPI Dynamics. 'This technique can scan networks protected behind firewalls such as corporate networks.'"

And just how are we supposed to protect against this. Maybe it is time to shut off the computer. Nahhhhh I will just stay away from bad web sites.

Cartoon Network Develops Online Game: Financial News - Yahoo! Finance

Cartoon Network Develops Online Game: Financial News - Yahoo! Finance:
"The Cartoon Network is developing a 'massively' multiplayer online game in the vein of 'World of Warcraft' and 'EverQuest' for kids 6 to 14.

The yet-to-be-named game, expected to launch in 2008, will let players interact with Cartoon Network characters like Mac, Bloo and the Kids Next Door."

Can you say "Neopets competition"? I guess if something works, you steal the idea. Here the combine World of Warcraft with Neotpets. I shudder to think of the results.

Which one do you think is the bigger kid?

So just which one is the bigger kid?

New Monopoly game uses debit card, no cash - Yahoo! News:
"A British version of the classic Monopoly board game released this week substitutes a Visa-imprinted debit card for the stacks of yellow, blue and purple play money long hoarded by children worldwide."
In the new British version of Monopoly Here & Now, players type amounts into a palm-sized scanner and swipe their debit cards to seal the deal.
Guess the term for counterfit money that I used for so long 'Monopoly Money' will have to go out as well. Does this mean that a counterfeit credit card will be a 'Monopoly Visa'
